SIPI, upon request, stipulates after-sales technical assistance contracts for the automatic weighing plants for mechanical, electric, electronic and information plants sectors SIPI is also able to follow all the activities relating to the calibration operations of the supplied weighing systems within the control plans of the company quality system and for the periodic checks and metric tests

SIPI supplies specialised technical personnel for analysis and evaluation of updates and modernisation activity of existing plants.

SIPI Engineers, designated for metrological consultancy activity, are available for consultancy when presenting new CE-M model approval requests and test certificates.

Trading engineers are available at the SIPI offices and on the more industrialised areas on the national territory in order to propose solutions and relative economical offers to resolve the engineering and logistic problems within the industry

Technical-trading collaborators are present in the main foreign countries in order to propose solutions and relative economical offers to resolve the engineering and logistic problems in the industry

SIPI disposes of a metrological laboratory and electro-magnetic compatibility, equipped with anechoic chamber, in which tests and measures are carried out with reference and in conformity with the main international standards. The tests which can be carried out in this laboratory allow the company to ensure, with regard to self-certification, that the products are in compliance with that specified by the generic and product reference standard. In the laboratory it is also possible to carry out tests which allow to evaluate the maximum limits of an instrument or equipment to give indication to the planners in identifying technologies which allow to improve the product. Also, activities relating to the control and calibration of instruments for electric measures with reference to first line samples compared to international primary sample, are carried out in the laboratory. SIPI makes available its own resources for the above described activities even for companies who have the need to carry out tests prior qualification or for the EC certification of their own products.

SIPI disposes of certified sample masses which are used for the tests and verifications of weighing system and bridge weighing up to 80 tonnes. The masses can be rented for carrying out tests and periodic verifications.

SIPI rents pieces counter and scales systems, always available in its own warehouse, for clients who have to carry out an end of year inventory or for other requirements.
