These two concepts are enough to outline the innovative framework within which our latest project is set.
Talking to our customers, listening to and understanding their needs, very often invites us to reflect and consider new horizons of development in terms of cutting-edge solutions capable of speeding up and making everyday business processes more efficient.
We who work in the field of logistics and goods handling know this well: the management of operations in warehouses requires continuous implementation and technological innovation.
Many of the logistics and transport companies we interface with on a daily basis share the need for a system that allows the weight and volume of pallets to be calculated quickly and with indisputable accuracy.
It was in this scenario that the idea of our SIPI PALLETSCAN 360 DYNAMIC was born, designed and built for the dynamic and automatic detection of the weight and dimensions of pallets in transit on trolleys or electric pallet trucks under the measuring gantry.
The uniqueness of this electronic system therefore lies in the possibility of calculating all the properties of the package, even if it is characterised by irregular shapes or black, reflective surfaces, without it being placed on the ground.

An underground scale allows the weight to be measured in dynamic mode or, alternatively, this information can be acquired directly on board the electric pallet truck/trolley.
The system consists of a support column and an arm for detecting the volume of the pallet: the operation is possible thanks to volumetric sensors that measure its length, width and height, instantly calculating the cuboid measurement.
The processed object is identified by means of a barcode read manually by the operator or detected directly by the system.
A digital camera captures and stores photos of the treated objects and a light/acoustic column indicates the status of the cycle.
All measurements taken as the pallet passes under the gantry are returned in real-time on a display, stored in the local database and consequently transferred to the management system for further processing.
The control panel independently integrates the management of the weighing mode and all peripherals connected to the system, including via Wi-Fi.
To complete the whole, the system is supplied with special standard or customized management software according to the customer’s needs.
The system is available in Legal For Trade (LFT) approved version.
