The STATIC WEIGHT CONTROL SYSTEM makes it possible to carry out the control of errors tolerated in minus on the contents of EEC pre-packages with reference to law 690 Presidential Decree 26-May-1980 no. 391.

The control of pre-packages is carried out by sampling and comprises two parts

• a control concerning the actual control of each pre-packaging in the sample;
• a second check concerning the average actual contents of the prepackages in the sample.

A batch of prepackages is considered acceptable if the results of both checks meet the acceptance criteria.

For both checks, there are two sampling plans to be used as follows

• one for the non-destructive check, which does not involve opening the packaging;
• the other for the destructive check, which involves opening or destroying the packaging.
